Someone once told me that life is only worth living if you actually live to its fullest potential. It took me years to understand what that meant.
Today i was watching a movie and heard a line that really stuck with me,

To Die Would Be An Awfully Big Adventure

That stuck with me like glue. Everyone i know so far in my short time being here has told me in one way or another that he or she is afraid of death. Once i heard this statement i, myself, believe i have conquered my fear of death. Yet as i kept watching that very same movie another line i did not expect stuck with me aswell, yet thinking about it, it is the perfect match to the last statement,

To Live Is An Awfully Big Adventure Not Yet Finished

To me this meant more than any other pep talk my friends and family could ever come up with. So instead of a New Year's vow i chose an August 11th vow.


I vow to live my life to the fullest each and every moment, to not take no for an anwser, to fight for what i believe in and what i believe is right, to stand up to my enemies with a smile on my face, to face down my fears, and to live my life, that will surely be filled with adventure, like there will be no tomorrow yet i will live that way with out my fear of death.


That is my vow of August 11th, all who take the time in reading this journal entry i emplore you to take a vow as well and stick to it. Promise yourself you will no longer be struck down with fear of losing, or the fear of death. Because who said death will be our end, maybe it is truly just the start of the biggest adventure of all.
